GMOA to meet President today

A special discussion between the Government Medical Officers’ Association and President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is scheduled to be held today (24).
The Central Committee Member of the Government Medical Officers ‘Association Dr. Navinda Zoysa stated that several issues including the issue of doctors’ salaries will be discussed at this meeting.
He further stated that discussions will be held with the President on the crisis in the health service as well as the risk of the entire public service being subjected to a serious crisis due to the steps taken by some to break the wage policy.
