GOVERNMENT MEDICAL OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION DISCUSSES WITH PM

Will the doctors’ strike be reactivated? The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) states that the decision on whether or not to hold the meeting will be taken after a discussion with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (04).
The discussion was scheduled to be held at 11.00 am today at Temple Trees.
The strike was called off by doctors following seven demands and lasted for four consecutive days.
The strike was called off and a discussion was held with the Prime Minister.
