It is reported that hundreds of thousands of Buddhist devotees visited the Kuragala sacred area yesterday (15) on the full moon day of Poson. There is also heavy traffic around the area. Buddhists have been constantly moving up and down for miles since morning. There is also heavy congestion in the shrine.
The Sri Lanka Army and Police have very well controlled the people who came.
