The auction of players for the Indian Premier League Cricket Tournament began in India today (12).
23 Sri Lankan players will be included in this year’s auction.
Also, Sri Lanka’s Vanidu Hasaranga, the world’s number one 20-20 bowler, has been given a base value of Rs. 10 million.
The highlight of the auction is the participation of under 19 captain Dunith Wellalage and young fast bowler Mathisha Pathirana.
