Mr. Kusum Sandanayake, Vice President of the Petroleum Suppliers Association, points out that there are irregularities in some gas stations in the island under the QR system.
He states that these irregularities should be investigated and measures taken immediately to prevent them.
He points out that this situation has arisen because the QR code was scanned but the related vehicle number was not checked.
Also, it has been reported that less than 50% of the oil received from some petrol stations has been released under QR, and it is a problem as to what happened to the remaining fuel, Mr. Kusum Sandanayake, Vice President of the Petroleum Suppliers Association, has pointed out.
