Jakdeep Dankar becomes the new Vice President of India.

It is reported that Jakdeep Dankar has been elected as the new Vice President of India.
He was the candidate of the alliance formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party, while Margaret Alwai contested as the Congress candidate.
It is said that the election for the post of Vice President of India is usually done by majority consent of the representatives of the Indian Parliament.
