KELANITISSA WILL BE CLOSED

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that power generation at the Kelanitissa Power Plant had to be completely shut down.
The decision was made due to the lack of fuel for its generators.
However, the Ceylon Electricity Board states that there will be no power cuts today (19).
It is reported that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation will supply fuel for the generators this afternoon.
