An 18-year-old gunman has shot and killed 19 elementary school children and two teachers in Uwalde, Texas.
The gunman broke into a classroom and shot at everyone on the road. According to international news services, all the children who died were fourth graders in the same class.
The doors of the classrooms were smashed to save the other children and the gunman finally fired to save the people.
In December 2012, a gunman killed 20 children and six adults at Sand Hook Primary in Connecticut. It is reported that this is the worst attack since that attack.

One of the two adults who died was a 69-year-old air conditioner who died while searching for his 10-year-old granddaughter.
