Leaders of the Opposition in Parliament should take responsibility for the country – Dr. Karunaratne Paranavithana
Former Minister Karunaratne Paranawithana stated at a media briefing yesterday (09) that the Leaders of the Opposition in Parliament should take the responsibility of rescuing Sri Lanka from the current situation.
Responding to a question posed by a journalist, he further stated that Mr. Champika Ranawaka was not the leader of a party but a national leader and that he was ready to take responsibility for the rescue operation if those opposition groups wished.
