The rank of Air Chief Marshal is currently the only highly respected post in the Sri Lanka Air Force. Roshan Goonetileke, the Governor of the Western Province is the only person who has received the honor at present. He was honored to serve as the Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force during the end of the war during the communal war and was promoted to the rank of Air Chief Marshal many years after the end of the war by the President of Sri Lanka.
Mistakes made during the Commander-in-Chief’s tenure or during his tenure are exposed as they retire. With the rapid circulation of information that did not exist in the past, the past stories of any individual emerge as “fires under the ashes”. Also, when an injustice is done to oneself, the victim suffers to the point of death. Because the perpetrator knows nothing about it, he suffers a painful death. We must all know that, as all religions teach, a good soul does not inherit after his death. This story is such a story. Also we are writing this story very politely and our only hope is to intervene to do him justice years later or later. All Roshan Goonetileke has to do is send a letter to the current Commander of the Air Force, Sudharshana Pathirana, asking him to rectify this unjust decision that he has made by mistake.
The Speaker of this case is Pushpakumara SMM who served under Service No. 11361. Is the person. He has been serving as an Apprentice Airman on 10.05.1988 as an Instructor at the Sri Lanka Air Force Parachute School since April 1999. He first worked as a parachute instructor for women in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
He has mentioned a series of incidents that took place there but we do not mention them as our only intention is to intervene to bring him to justice but the Commanding Officer of the camp has completed all the relevant incidents. At that time, the Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake was a former Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Kapila Jayampathi. The case, which he has resolved as the competent authority, has been re-examined by Air Vice Marshal Gurusinghe, who later became the Commanding Officer. Since then, everything from the aforementioned airman to his job loss has been dealt with differently for the same incident.
We have all the information for that and a person named Ravi Jayasinghe, a regimental officer who was Roshan Goonetileke’s bodyguard, has also been charged.
Not only that but we have a lot of other information but we would like to reiterate that Pushpakumara SMM who served under No. 11361 above has been subjected to injustice. To intervene expeditiously to bring justice to the person who is now.
Also, a number of airmen have been unjustly removed from the Air Force in recent times. We have received a list of their names. They are going to be published one by one in the future, but it is a grave mistake to take away the helpless soldiers by taking the law into their own hands and today the whole of Sri Lanka is suffering because of the mistake of not thinking like human beings or by the decision makers themselves.
