A young man has died after falling into a waterfall in Haldummulla Udaveriya estate.
Two young men have come to visit a waterfall located in the Sanveli Estate area of Haldummulla Udaveriya Estate on the 2nd.
The police said that this young man slipped and fell into the waterfall while taking a selfie near the waterfall.
The dead body of the young man was found yesterday (03) in a water hole about 200 meters below the place where the accident occurred during the search conducted by Haldummulla area residents and police officers.
The deceased is a 24-year-old Velamitia resident of Guruthalawa area and the Haldummulla Police is carrying out further investigations into the incident.
