For the first time in Sri Lanka, a range of locally sourced trucks using Sri Lankan manpower and technology will be launched in the market today (20).
The launch was held at the Lanka Ashok Leyland Company factory in Godagama, Homagama this morning under the patronage of Industry Minister Wimal Weerawansa.
These trucks were assembled and manufactured by Lanka Ashok Leyland.
On March 15, a standard operating procedure was introduced for the vehicle manufacturing, assembly and accessories manufacturing industries in Sri Lanka.
