Malnutrition in low-income families

Dr. Priyanga Dunusinghe of the University of Colombo stated that low income families are facing a severe food crisis due to rising inflation in the country.
He also pointed out that there is a possibility of malnutrition in those families.
Dr. Priyanga Dunusangha further stated that the urban poor, the rural poor as well as the plantation community are suffering due to this and their ability to buy food items is rapidly declining.
