MAN KILLED IN SHOOTING

A person has been shot dead in the Midigama area, reports say.
The shooting had taken place last night (20) in a Turkish village in the Midigama Police Division, according to the Police Media Spokesman’s Office.
The 46-year-old man who was injured in the shooting died after being admitted to the Walana Hospital.
The suspect who carried out the shooting has been identified and investigations are underway to arrest him, police said.
