The agreement to transfer the shares of the Yugadanavi power plant to an American company was tabled in Parliament recently.
The Leader of the JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated that several cabinet ministers of the government had requested copies of the report.
However, Minister Johnston Fernando stated that it is not necessary to study the relevant agreement in order to approve it.
