The Director General of Health Services has issued Health Guidelines to be implemented from today (16) to December 31.
Dr. Asela Gunawardena has also requested the public to follow these health guidelines given by the health sector to control the spread of the Kovid epidemic.
Accordingly, the maximum number of people who can attend a funeral has been increased to 30 and the ban on offering liquor at weddings has been lifted from today.
