NIGERIA LIFTS BAN ON TWITTER

The ban on the use of Twitter in Nigeria has been lifted.
The use of Twitter has been banned in Nigeria for seven months since last June.
That was due to a problem with a statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari on Twitter.
However, the Nigerian government issued a statement yesterday (12) stating that the ban on Twitter would be lifted with the approval of the President.
