OMICRON INVADES CHINA

People infected with the Omicron Kovid variety have been reported in several parts of China.
China’s Winter Olympics are about to begin in a week’s time, officials say.
China’s first Omicron infection was found in the port of Tianjin, and has now been found in Henan province.
However, Chinese authorities have taken steps to refer the entire population of the city, 1.4 million, for medical examination after an infection was reported from Tianjin province.
