It is reported that 90,000 new Covid infections were identified in South Korea yesterday (15).
The Omicron variety, a new Covid variety, is now rapidly spreading throughout South Korea.
Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has said there is no plan to lock down the country, despite a 20-fold increase in the number of Kovid infections in the past two weeks.
But she pointed out that next month’s election could be postponed.
