OMICRON TRANSCENDS DELTA

Medical research institutes say that in the future, the main Covid variety in the country may become Omicron.
Dr. Nadeeka Janage, a specialist in viral diseases at the Medical Research Institute said that the Omicron variant is already spreading in the country, surpassing the Delta variant.
According to Dr. Nadeeka Janage, research has shown that people with Omicron are more likely to be infected and those with Delta are less likely to be infected.
