PREPARATIONS TO INCREASE BUS FARES

State Minister of Transport Dilum Amunugama states that bus fares will have to be increased despite the reluctance.
The Minister of State has stated this while participating in the Ankumbura Urban Development Project in Harispattuwa today (26).
Accordingly, some bus fares will have to be revised next week and if so, the minimum possible revisions will be made with due regard to the passengers, the Minister said.
