Presidential commissions are still active.

The President has decided to extend the period of several commissions.
Recently, a situation arose that nearly 10 presidential commissions appointed by the former president Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa could no longer be maintained.
The reason for this was the resignation of Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa from the office of President.
However, after looking into the information about the functioning of these presidential commissions, the presidential secretariat has given instructions to extend their period.
