Arrangements have been made to provide educational scholarships for children below the age of 20 who have lost their parents due to the Kovid epidemic.
This scholarship program is implemented under the “Itukama Covid – 19 Health and Social Security Fund”.
This program has been initiated according to a concept of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
- Certified copy of death certificate of mother / father
- Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate
- Confirmation letter from the Grama Niladhari who caused the death
- Applications along with the letter of confirmation from the principal that the children are going to school
The application should be prepared in the above manner and should be addressed to the Secretary, Kovid-19 Health and Social Security Fund, Presidential Secretariat, Colombo 01 by marking the top left corner of the envelope as “Educational Scholarships from Kovid-19 Health and Social Security Fund”.
