Several Indian cricketers have been ruled out of the 20-20 tournament this year

The Twenty20 International and Test Cricket Tournament between Sri Lanka and India are scheduled to take place next week.
The Indian cricket authorities have decided not to name any of the strongest players in the squad for the tournament.
Accordingly, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested and several others have been dropped from the squad.
Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma and Viridiman have been dropped from the Test squad.
It is reported that Rohin Sharma has been given the responsibility of leading the Test team.
