Sri Lanka condemns attack on United Arab Emirates that killed civilians

The Government of Sri Lanka strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the United Arab Emirates that has claimed the lives of several civilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Sri Lanka extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the people of the United Arab Emirates and the Government.
The statement also reiterated the need for Sri Lanka to continue to be vigilant against terrorist threats that threaten global peace and security.
Two terrorist attacks took place at two locations in the United Arab Emirates’ capital Abu Dhabi yesterday (17).
Abu Dhabi police said the attack was carried out using drones.
Three persons were killed and six others were injured in the attack, according to foreign media reports.
