STATION MASTERS ON STRIKE AGAIN

Even before the token strike ended yesterday (13), the station masters have resorted to emergency trade union action.
With the action of the General Manager of Railways to suspend the Vice President of the union.
Accordingly, the Station Masters have abruptly resigned from their duties this afternoon (14).
The General Secretary of the union Kasun Chamara stated that the trade union action was taken by the General Manager of the Railways to protest against the arbitrary suspension of the Vice President of his union.
