A young woman is shot dead

The Nedunkeni police said that a 21-year-old girl died in a shooting that took place in Shivanagar area, Nedunkeni, Vavuniya at around 8.30 last night (18).
The police have said that the 21-year-old Dureirajasingham Pramila was shot when she came out of the house for some work.
The deceased girl was living with her father and the reason for the shooting or who did the shooting is yet to be found.
However, the police have stated that they have started investigating the incident using several teams.
Also, the magistrate’s autopsy and the postmortem on the body are scheduled to be held today (19).
