A study by a team of experts at the University of Hong Kong has revealed that this new type of omicchron Kovid grows 70 times faster than the original Kovid and Delta variants in bronchial tissue.
The study team points out that as a result, the variant may be spreading rapidly.
The study also found that the omicchron variant’s growth rate in the lung tissue was about ten times slower and that the risk of developing the disease was somewhat lower.
