The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced that they have started the investigation to find Kayleigh Fraser, a British national, who is staying in the country even though her visa is invalid.
A spokesperson of the department said that the girl in question had just left the place where she was staying.
This British woman has been campaigning on social media regarding the Gallumudoora protest and her visa has now been cancelled.
The Immigration Department had informed her to leave the country immediately.
Kaylee Feser filed a request before the Court of Appeal for an order to invalidate the decision taken by the Department of Immigration, but the court has taken steps to reject it.
According to the Immigration Department, she has been informed to be deported from the country, but she has not left the country till now.
The department has further indicated that she is still illegally staying in the country and they are taking her into custody and presenting her to the court.
