The Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith says that if the Minister in charge of the police is honest, the evidence given by the church regarding the Easter attack should be investigated.
Despite various statements made by the Minister in charge of the Police, the Cardinal is deeply concerned that no justice has been done so far.
The cardinal further stated that if the minister in charge of the police is honest, he should look into the submissions made by the church party and expect such justice.
The cardinal also said that neither the government nor the minister had any interest in conducting a transparent investigation into the attack.
