President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to leave for Japan tonight (25) for a three-day official visit.
The President is scheduled to attend the funeral ceremony of the former Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinsho Abe.
It is also reported that about 700 guests from 217 countries, including President Ranil Wickremesinghe, are going to participate in this funeral ceremony.
It is also reported that a special security system has been deployed in Japan’s Tokyo capital.
Also, during his stay in Japan, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to hold talks with many high level leaders including the new Prime Minister of Japan.
The President is on an official visit to Japan.
