All eyes are now on the attack on Chamuditha Samarawickrema’s house by a group of thugs yesterday (15) morning.
According to informed sources, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa had a lengthy discussion with Chamuditha Samarawickrema regarding this incident this morning (16).
The Prime Minister has promised Chamuditha Samarawickrema that investigations into the incident will be carried out properly and that all culprits will be brought to justice.
We must keep in mind that if such acts continue, the country’s media freedom will be completely curtailed and our own country will be destroyed.
However, in such a situation, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is credited with intervening and empowering him and the entire media community, as well as the media community in the country as well as the just community in Sri Lanka.
