THE SECOND SESSION OF THE 9TH PARLIAMENT TODAY

The second session of the 9th Parliament is scheduled to open today (18) with a very simple ceremony.
Accordingly, President Rajapaksa is scheduled to address the throne at 10.00 am.
Parliamentary Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando stated that the House will be adjourned after the President’s throne speech.
Also, journalists who come to Parliament today and those who come to supply various goods are to be directed to Kovid investigations.
The statement made by the Parliamentary Serjeant-at-Arms said that attendance is mandatory with the arrival of invited guests.
