The Sri Lankan government suspends the permit for the Chinese vessel

It is reported that the government of Sri Lanka has temporarily suspended the permission given to the Chinese space satellite test vessel Yuan Wang 5 to come to Hambantota port to get necessary facilities.
This decision has been taken after the Indian government expressed its displeasure to the Sri Lankan government regarding the arrival of the Yuan Wang 5 ship as a spy ship.
It has also been reported that the Chinese government has already officially expressed their displeasure with this decision taken by the Sri Lankan government.
Accordingly, yesterday (06) Chinese Ambassador Mr. Ki Sheng Hong met President Ranil Wickramasinghe and informed the official displeasure of the Chinese government.
The ship is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to monitor satellite tracking and intercontinental ballistic missile positioning and was scheduled to reach Hambantota port on September 11.
The ship in question is approaching Hambantota port with the aim of getting fuel and other facilities.
However, due to this, it is also reported that China and India have initiated a serious diplomatic conflict with Sri Lanka.
