THE TRAIN STRIKE IS OVER

The token strike launched by the station masters from 12 noon on the 12th has ended.
The station masters went on a 24-hour token strike over several demands.
The President of the Railway Station Masters’ Association Sumedha Somaratne stated that the trade union action was terminated at midnight yesterday (13) following a discussion with the Secretary to the Ministry of Transport.
