According to the international media, a black diamond weighing 555.55 carats named ‘The Enigma’ has been put up for auction.
Bidding for the auction will take place from February 3 to 9, and cryptocurrencies can also be used.
Sotheby’s, the company that organized the auction, claims that this is the largest black diamond ever put up for auction.
The black diamond entered the Guinness Book of Records in 2006 as the largest polished diamond.
The diamond was on display in Dubai last week and will be on display in Beverly Hills later this week and will then be taken to London for auction.
According to market reports, the diamond is expected to fetch between $ 4-7 million.
