The Department of Meteorology announced that there will be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (21).
Meanwhile, the department announced that there may be rain or thundershowers in a few places in the Uva province, Ampara and Batticaloa districts in the evening or at night.
Today, the rest of the island is showing a mainly rainless weather condition.
Also, the Department of Meteorology requested the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
