Transfer of all police officers in Kandy.

It is reported that all but three officers of the Kandy Headquarters Police have been transferred.
Accordingly, it is reported that all other officers except the station commander of the various complaints department and three sergeants involved in judicial affairs have been transferred to other police stations with immediate effect.
This decision has been taken by the Senior Superintendent of Police of Kandy Division and it is also reported that this decision has been made due to the complaints that the desired public service is not being received from the various complaints department in Kandy.
It is reported that a police inspector and five sub-inspectors are among the 40 police officers who have been transferred.
The Divisional Commissioner of Various Complaints has recently reported to the Division and he has not been transferred considering it.
It is also reported that the transfer of the other two officers involved in judicial affairs will interfere with their duties, so both of them have been temporarily assigned to work in the various complaint department.
