TWO DROWNED IN KALU RIVER

Four persons who were swimming in the Kaluganga in the Sri Palabaddala area in Siripagama have drowned and two of them have died and another has gone missing.
The accident had taken place while bathing yesterday (15) afternoon and one person was rescued, police said.
The missing person is a 10 year old boy residing in the Anguruwatota area.
The deceased have been identified as a 22-year-old and a 40-year-old resident of the same area.
