We published an article about a recent discussion by a well-known journalist with a man named Tuan Adam Saleem about a land dispute in the Kollupitiya area.
The other party who claimed to be guilty of the land issue, which was the main theme of the discussion, also had an open discussion with this journalist and we, the media network, drew attention to that as well.
The person involved in the discussion was identified as Sheikh alias Mohammed Siddique Shaheed, a businessman.
According to Saleem, the land was not expropriated and a sum of Rs. 4.5 million was paid to Saleem’s wife and Rs. 500,000 each was given to Saleem’s children.
He also had documents signed by the children and his wife.
Saleem also made a number of allegations against some police officers, all of which he said were false.
All the statements made by these two are contradictory and which is right and which is wrong? Is a big puzzle here.
The full discussion follows.
