The Meteorological Department has released the weather conditions in Sri Lanka today (27).
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the North-Central, North-Western, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces after 2.00 pm.
Heavy showers of more than 50 mm are expected in some parts of the North-Central, North-Western and Central Provinces.
The Meteorological Department warns the public to take necessary measures to reduce the risk of temporary strong winds and thunderstorms.
