WESTERN PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL ON STRIKE

The Joint Federation of Paramedical Professionals has commenced a strike in all hospitals in the Western Province from this morning (26).
Its chairman Ravi Kumudesh stated that the trade union action was taken in protest of the non-intervention of any party in resolving the salary anomalies in the paramedical and paramedical services and the nursing service.
