WHO NOTIFICATION TO SOUTHEAST ASIA

The World Health Organization (WHO) has notified Southeast Asian countries of the new strain of Omicron Covid, first identified in South Africa.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged countries in the Asia-Pacific region to be vigilant and to follow health guidelines in this regard, as new cases of the covid virus have been identified in several countries around the world.

They have also warned that health guidelines will be tightened, furthering the vaccination process.

Although the spread of covid is now controlled in many countries in the Asia-Pacific region, further protection against it should be established with this new variant.
