The All Ceylon Professional Lecturers’ Association has requested for the issuance of health recommendations for the commencement of tuition classes with less than 100% of children.
Isuru Menuka, the Kalutara District President of the association pointed out that there is a possibility of starting tuition classes within two weeks of the commencement of academic activities in schools.
He further stated that due to the closure of tuition classes at a time when all sectors of the country are now open, there are a large number of teachers and families who depend on them and they are now in a desperate situation. They also said they were ready to start classes.
