Arrangements are being made to re-use the Kandakadu Quarantine Center, which was used as a Kovid treatment center, as a rehabilitation center.
The Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi stated that the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center has been used as a quarantine center for more than a year.
The Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi has stated that the rehabilitation center is now operational and has the capacity to rehabilitate about 1000 people at a time.
He also said that steps have been taken to further expand the rehabilitation process in the country and to rehabilitate women as well.
