Over the past day, 122 people have been diagnosed with Omicron in India.
Accordingly, the total number of Omichron variants identified so far in the country is 415.
Of those total infections, 91% were fully vaccinated and 27% were reported by any foreign health department.
However, the non-delivery of booster doses in India has already caused concern among many in the country.
Experts point out that many countries around the world have started giving booster doses in the face of the new variant, but so far India has not resorted to such a program, which could put India at risk.
