At least 19 people have been killed in a fire that broke out in an apartment building in New York.
Foreign media reported that 09 children were among the dead.
Thirty-two people were reported injured in the blaze.
The building has 19 floors and the fire started on the second and third floors but the smoke has spread to all the floors.
This is considered to be the worst accident in New York in the United States in 30 years.
However, the police suspect that the cause of the fire was an electric heater.
