From today (14), Sathosa is planning to sell a relief bag at a discounted price for this festive season through all its branch networks island wide.
The relief bag includes 20 items and is expected to sell around 100,000 relief bags.
All these items can be purchased at a price of around Rs. 3,998 and the consumer will get an advantage of Rs. 1,750, said the Minister of Trade, Bandula Gunawardena.
Accordingly, the items included in the relief bag are,
10 kg of Super Samba
1 kg of white sugar
1 kg of red lentils
1 kg of string hopper flour
500 grams of sprats
400 grams of noodles
400 grams of table salt
Milk of 02 coconuts
90 grams of soy meat
01 packet of papadum
100 grams of chili powder
100 g of pepper powder
100 g of three-fifths powder
100 grams of turmeric
100 grams of tea leaves
A bar of fragrant soap
Sathosa soap bar
Hand washing liquid
