Pakistan stated that its country is in need of further international assistance due to the impact of flood conditions across the country.
Although America, Britain, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries have provided assistance, the Ministry of Interior stated that according to the current situation, more funds are needed.
The flood situation has been going on since June and foreign media have reported that more than a thousand people have died and millions of people have been displaced.
Commentators point out that Pakistan is currently facing an economic crisis and that situation has been exacerbated by the floods.
