Ven. Omalpe Sobhitha Thero says that the government should pay attention to the message given by the students of the University of Colombo.
He pointed out that the University of Colombo scholars had directly defended their principles and had justifiably religiously rejected anything they did not like, and that it had done so successfully, and that the government should understand the example and message they had set.
